Counseling Services

A caring mental health professional is available by appointment to support community members who are going through, or have gone through, difficult experiences like trauma, gender dysphoria, sexual assault, domestic or dating violence, stalking, or being the victim of a crime. We also offer help for those dealing with substance use issues. Our counseling services are available for individuals, couples, and families.

Insurance & Payment

We accept Wisconsin Medicaid (BadgerCare, ForwardHealth cards), including coverage through:

  • Title 19 (T19)

  • Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)

  • The following Medicaid HMOs:

    • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

    • Network Health

    • UnitedHealthcare

    • Chorus Community Health Plan

We provide therapy services for clients covered by Medicaid. We also reserve a limited number of slots for uninsured clients to ensure our services remain accessible to those without coverage.

Not sure if you qualify for Medicaid? Our staff can assist you in exploring signing up for state insurance and other available coverage options. We can also provide referrals to other community resources and LGBTQ+ friendly therapists.

Schedule an Appointment

To schedule an appointment for ongoing counseling, substance use support, or to obtain a letter for gender-affirming surgery, complete our referral form and click "submit" at the bottom of the form.

Please note: There is currently a waitlist for uninsured slots due to the high volume of requests. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please fill out the form.
