Project Q

(young adult program)

Program Coordinator:

Marz Ezeji (he/they)

Consists of drop-ins, development activities, and life-skill coaching. Drop-ins are a safe space for youth (13+) to meet each other, exercise creativity, socialize with peers, and create a sense of community. We also support local organizations and schools in supplementing their LGBTQIA+ affinity groups.

In addition to providing a safe space, Project Q provides opportunities for development and leadership through several activities. Some of the structured activities include:

  • Workforce/job skills development

  • Leadership and life skills activities

  • Expression/arts-based activities

  • Alcohol, tobacco, and other drug risk-reduction activities.

  • Safer sex and healthy relationship education.

  • Health and wellness

The PQ Clubhouse is extending the program per community need. Designed to create affirming, community-centered spaces for LGBTQ+ young adults ages 18–25 as they navigate adulthood. Through opportunities for connection, support, and self-expression, participants can build community, access resources, and engage in experiences that celebrate their identities and personhood.

Beginning in June 2026, the program will offer two monthly gatherings:

Social Saturdays (the last Saturday of each month) offer a fun, dry space for LGBTQ+ young adults to connect and build friendships. Whether you enjoy dancing, playing video games, coloring, crafting, or simply chatting with others, this community-driven space is yours to help shape and make your own.

Wellness Mondays (third Monday of each month) provide a peer-to-peer support space where young adults can share experiences, access resources, discuss challenges, and receive support around basic needs and life transitions. This brave and affirming environment is centered on uplifting participants and fostering resilience, belonging, and well-being.

Together, Wellness Mondays and Social Saturdays create meaningful opportunities for LGBTQ+ young adults to find support, build connections, and thrive in a welcoming and affirming community.
