LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Training is an interactive experience where people can learn about the LGBTQ+ Community and how to be a better ally. We use a conversational and storytelling approach to teaching and learning. The training can be with any size audience. There’s no group too big or too small.

Training Breakdown:

Part 1 (approximately 90 minutes)

Terminology. We talk about the LGBTQ+ acronym and what it means, along with other helpful language.

Gender. What is it? How and why do we see gender the way we do?

Pronouns. What they are and how to use them.

Allyship. How to be a better ally both within and without the LGBTQ+ Community

Part 2 (approximately 90 minutes)

Intersectionality. The interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender as they apply the LGBTQ+

Gender 2.0. A deep dive into gender roles, social norms, and how they were developed.

Allyship. How to be a better ally both within and without the LGBTQ+ Community

Inclusivity. Inclusive practices and what those look like:

-in the classroom.

-in the workplace.

-in healthcare.
