Alban Flores is a Chicano activist who had been involved in the League of United Latin American Citizens, among other Latino groups. He has also volunteered for the ACLU to protect protesters' rights in Milwaukee. Born and raised in Kenosha, he has lived in Milwaukee for nine years in a diverse neighborhood, Walkers Point.

As our Digital and Social Media Coordinator, he brings us his passion for advocating social justice and LGBTQ+ rights through his digital art and content work with our Website, social media, and various announcements of programs and events that support our community.

He attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where he majored in Political Science and Ethnic Studies. While attending the university, he became the President of UWP's Latinos Unidos Organization. While his tenor as president, he forged alliances with Black Student Union and the LGBT Organization.  Alban also started a once Latino-based, now multicultural fraternity, Omega Delta Phi Inc. (Odphi), "One Culture, Any Race," omegadeltaphi.com, and is still an active alumnus. Alban also attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where he took a few photography classes; later, he went on to earn a certificate in Digital Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He enjoys photography., digital drawing & painting—hobbies that have been part of his life since childhood.

Alban took this position because of his passion for the cause of the LGBTQ+ community and his desire to give back to those who had helped him in trying times. Not to mention his love for art, design, and creativity.  He is also a marriage officiate.
