From supporting the Youth Program as an adult mentor to staffing the front desk to assisting with fundraising efforts, volunteers work closely with Center staff and have been a key element in the successful development of the Center.

Front Desk Representatives
For Center programs to function smoothly, front desk volunteers sit at the reception desk in the lobby of the Center to ensure that all visitors find the appropriate programs, meeting rooms and staff. Responsibilities for front desk volunteers include answering phones, directing people to meetings, monitoring of the Cyber Center, and, when necessary, closing the Center in the evenings after programs conclude.
Data Entry & Administrative Tasks Assistant
Assist with administrative tasks within the organization
Adult Allies to Youth • Youth Program • Project Q
This program works directly with youth to provide individual assistance and guidance and ensures the Project Q drop in hours runs smoothly. Must be at least 25 years old to volunteer for this program.
General Program Coordinator support
Assist with cleaning, small repairs, and handy tasks.
Older Adults Program Volunteers • SAGE Milwaukee
This program offers special opportunities for LGBT persons, 50 and better. Volunteers would assist staff with programming, outings, outreach, advocacy, and education.
Assist with routine IT needs.
Marketing & Communications Volunteer
Assist with marketing/branding for the organization
Special Events Committee Volunteers
This program seeks creative and hard working people to help with several events each year. Volunteers are requested to help with set up, making name badges, showing guests where to gather and help clean up after each event. Generally, there are two pre-event meetings about 1-2 hours in length to plan for each event.
