www.gender.org
Gender Education and Advocacy (GEA) is a national organization focused on the needs, issues and concerns of gender variant people in human society. We seek to educate and advocate, not only for ourselves and others like us, but for all human beings who suffer from gender-based oppression in all of its many forms.

National Gay & Lesbian Task Force.
www.thetaskforce.org
Mission of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Foundation

The mission of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force is to build the grassroots power of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. We do this by training activists, equipping state and local organizations with the skills needed to organize broad-based campaigns to defeat anti-LGBT referenda and advance pro-LGBT legislation, and building the organizational capacity of our movement. Our Policy Institute, the movement’s premier think tank, provides research and policy analysis to support the struggle for complete equality and to counter right-wing lies. As part of a broader social justice movement, we work to create a nation that respects the diversity of human expression and identity and creates opportunity for all.

You are valued! And you can have that meaningful and rewarding life that you desire. I am here to help you define what that is and remove the obstacles that are getting in the way. I believe that everyone has the potential to live a meaningful and rewarding life based on their own definition of what that is. I realize that achieving this is not easy but simply moving towards it can be rewarding in itself.
For several years prior to becoming a professional counselor, I worked in a business setting while raising a family as a single parent. This has given me first-hand knowledge of the trials and tribulations of the world of work and creating balance.
My role as your therapist is to first and foremost provide a safe and trusting place for you to grow. A place where you feel genuinely cared about and valued. I will then serve as a springboard for your growth in the areas you identify; providing insight, techniques, and encouragement.
Specialties: Transgender, depression, self-esteem, divorce, parenting, relationships, life-transitions, identity issues
Payments Accepted: cash, check, credit cards (including HSA’s and FSA’s). I do not take insurance.
