HIV Services
HIV Services of the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center offers programs that target men who have sex with men (MSM) in communities of color. A series of multi-session workshops are held for individuals who want to talk about HIV prevention/intervention. Additionally, we offer free rapid HIV anti-body testing on an anonymous or confidential basis by appointment.
HIV/AIDS is on the increase in for men who have sex with men throughout Wisconsin. The term “MSM” is used as not all men who have sex with men who identify as gay. From 2005 to 2008, the number of MSM of color in metropolitan Milwaukee who have been diagnosed with HIV has tripled! The Center is committed to HIV prevention and addressing prevention in creative and culturally appropriate ways.
