Welcome to the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center’s Youth Programming / Project Q space! Currently we offer daily programming that includes social events such as movie nights, game nights, and community discussions on social issues and identity. In addition, we also provide more structured programming through our partnerships with outside organizations that include seminars on wellness and life skills, arts activities, among others. We also have an extensive library of LGBT-themed books (over 3,000 titles!) for our youth to enjoy, as well as a “Cyber Center” that provides internet and printing access.
April 2017 will feature the following special events:
MSOE Picnic Event (Friday, April 28th)
The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center will be partnering with MSOE’s SAGA student organization to host a picnic event at the campus Old Athletic Field on Friday, April 28th. Youth will be able to play outdoor games, enjoy food, and build community. We will meet at the Center by 5:00 and leave for the field together.
Art Therapy Group (Every Tuesday and Saturday)
Art Therapy Nights with Mt. Mary University art therapy intern, Allison will be held weekly in the Project Q space. These nights will include a number of do-it-yourself art projects, open studio nights, and activities.
Be on the look-out for new monthly calendars!
