PFLAG of Milwaukee formed in 1989 and became a national affiliate in 1995. Its purpose is to support those of the LGBT community including their parents, families and friends. This is accomplished through support meetings, education, and advocacy.
PFLAG meetings on the 3rd Sunday of each month at Martin Luther Church (9235 West Bluemound Road) from 5pm to 7:15pm. Fund raisers are one a quarter and presentations by PFLAG members as requested.
In addition to its' two sister groups in Waukesha and Kenosha, PFLAG has an office in the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center and works closely with Project Q, a Milwaukee LGBT Community Center Youth program.
