The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center is a community-based organization represented by more than 150 volunteers and over 300 members. It's mission is to improve the quality of life for LGBT people in the Metro Milwaukee area.
This is done by focusing on five core objectives:
- Provide a home for the birth, nurture and celebration of our organizations,
culture and diversity
- Initiate, implement and advocate for
programs and services that meet the needs of our communities
- Educate the public and our communities to encourage positive
changes in the systems affecting our lives;
- Empower our individuals
and groups to achieve their fullest potential;
- Cultivate a culture
of diversity and inclusion in all phases of the project.
